Overview

In this role, we are looking for a highly experienced Business Intelligence Subject Matter Expert (SME) to provide technical expertise and strategic direction on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Responsibilities

  • Provide expert knowledge of GCP data services (Big Query, Cloud Storage, Dataflow, Looker/Tableau)
  • Design and optimize complex data pipelines for data ingestion, transformation, and analysis
  • Develop complex data models using relational and dimensional modeling techniques
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and design effective BI solutions
  • Promote best practices in data governance, security, and compliance on GCP
  • Mentor junior team members on GCP technologies and BI best practices
  • Stay updated on emerging trends in GCP, BI tools, and data analytics methodologies

Skills and Qualifications

  • Experience in data warehousing, data management, and business intelligence
  • Proficiency in GCP data services (Big Query, Cloud Storage, Dataflow)
  • Strong understanding of data governance, security, and compliance principles
  • Experience in designing and implementing complex data pipelines with SQL
  • Knowledge of leading BI tools and platforms (Tableau, Looker)
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to translate technical concepts for business stakeholders
  • Strong leadership presence to influence and inspire

Expectations

Salary

The salary range for this position in Cary is $100,000 to $142,250, influenced by factors such as skill set, experience, education, and qualifications. This range does not include incentive compensation or other types of remuneration.
