What We Are Looking For

We are excited to announce an opening for our first Business Intelligence Analyst. This essential role, reporting to the Head of Finance and Business Operations, will serve as the primary authority on analytics, partnering with various stakeholders to deliver impactful data insights that drive our business forward.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain critical data models essential for team enablement and performance monitoring.
• Utilize advanced data analysis tools, like SQL, to transform data into actionable insights that inform decision-making processes across Check.
• Enhance and maintain our analytical efforts, identifying opportunities to increase analytical rigor throughout the company.
• Monitor and proactively investigate shifts in key financial and business performance metrics.
• Collaborate extensively across multiple teams including Finance & BizOps, Engineering, Operations, and Risk.

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong experience with data modeling and scaling analytics infrastructure.
• Proficient in constructing KPIs and providing marketing insights to optimize budget allocation.
• Experience with analytics tech stacks including ETL tools (e.g., Fivetran, Stitch) and data platforms like Snowflake, Postgres, and Mode.
• Proficiency in SQL and a minimum of 5 years in a data-centric analytical role.

Location and Travel

Our team is distributed across the US, with offices in New York City and San Francisco. While we support remote work, we also see the value in in-person interactions, offering opportunities for our team to connect during offsites, events, and hackathons.

Salary and Application
