Become a pivotal member of our Business Modeling organization at JPMorgan Chase, where you'll collaborate with colleagues to develop high-impact quantitative models catering to our customers' financial needs, including retail, credit card, home, auto lending, and wealth management.

Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead modeling or data science engagements from start to finish, involving business, governance, and tech stakeholders, establishing clear business use cases, and executing project plans.
  • Perform exploratory data analysis to generate testable business hypotheses, develop and deploy models, and monitor their performance.
  • Act as a subject matter expert and trusted advisor to business partners, helping them comprehend the strengths and limitations of our models.
  • Proactively monitor changes in model performance, customer behavior, and the competitive landscape.
  • Mentor junior team members, aiding in their growth in technical, business, and communication skills.

Required Qualifications, Skills, and Abilities:

  • M.S. degree in Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Operations Research, or Economics.
  • 3+ years of experience in developing statistical, econometric, or machine learning (ML) models.
  • 3+ years of experience with Artificial Intelligence (AI) techniques, including reinforcement learning and optimization algorithms.

Preferred Qualifications, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Ph.D. in a quantitative discipline.
  • Experience in advanced forecasting, AI, or ML model development in consumer finance, financial services, tech, or major retail industries.
  • AWS Certified Machine Learning or Microsoft Certified: Azure AI Fundamentals certification preferred.
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language, with Python being highly preferred.
