Job Description

We are actively seeking a talented C++ Software Engineer with expertise in Computer Vision to join our team dedicated to Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) for Rail projects. As the automotive industry evolves, the advent of autonomous rail technology is on the horizon. At Bosch, you'll contribute to revolutionary solutions that are set to transform tomorrow's mobility.

In this role, you will engage in the development, adaptation, and integration of video perception solutions. Your work will enable trains to "see" and "react" to their surroundings, enhancing safety and extending the capabilities of train operators significantly.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement computer vision technologies for object detection, localization, scene understanding, and mapping targeted at rail environments.
• Evaluate performance using reference sensors like RADAR and LiDAR, and develop methods to ensure product effectiveness and reliability.
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders to review and meet product requirements.
• Design, develop, implement, and test software solutions, adhering to high standards of quality through unit testing and thorough documentation.
• Work within an Agile framework, contributing to the continuous enhancement of both our solutions and workflows.
• Participate in customer projects and proof-of-concept development for next-generation solutions.

Qualifications

We are looking for professionals who hold a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, with a strong foundation in C/C++ and an eagerness to advance in computer vision technology. Ideal candidates will possess robust mathematical skills, excellent analytical abilities, and a keen eye for detail. Experience in software architecture and embedded application development is highly valued.
