JR55072 CAD Layout Automation Lead

The CAD Layout Automation Lead will be at the forefront of developing and implementing advanced automation solutions for IC layout design. In this pivotal role, you will collaborate closely with design teams to understand their needs and create custom software solutions aimed at improving efficiency and productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and implementation of automation tools for IC layout design.
• Collaborate with design teams to understand their needs and develop custom software solutions.
• Evaluate existing layout design processes and identify areas for improvement.
• Develop and maintain documentation for automation tools and processes.
• Provide training and support to design teams on the use of automation tools.
• Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in IC layout design and automation.
• Strong knowledge of Chip-level integration.
• Extensive layout design experience.
• Proficiency in EDA tools and design methodologies.
• Programming skills in languages such as Python, Perl, or TCL.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Understanding of Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence algorithms at the concept level.
