About Lilly Capability Center India

Lilly Capability Center India (LCCI) provides a strategic advantage through research, development, and deployment of innovative and disruptive capabilities. Our application development team in LCCI contributes to the modernization of Lilly IT Systems by aligning with Lilly Enterprise Architecture principles and developing modern application designs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Partner with business-facing IT teams to develop new business applications using modern stacks and to modernize existing applications.
• Build enterprise-grade chatbots and apps.
• Create reusable design patterns and code modules to support effective implementation of modern technologies into custom-developed apps.
• Engage in Proof-Of-Concept (POC) activities related to new technologies in Lilly’s portfolio.

Required Experience:

• Strong knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+ and NodeJS).
• Understanding of asynchronous request handling, promises, and async-await.
• Experience building Enterprise Chatbots using the Kore.ai Conversational AI Platform.
• Hands-on experience with the Azure cloud platform.
• Experience with Express.js back-end framework.
• Proficient in developing web apps with ReactJS.
• Proficient in HTML5 and CSS3.
• Experience with testing frameworks such as Mocha/Jest.
• Skilled in database (DDL, DML, Queries, Joins, Stored Procedures, etc).
• Experience working with GitHub and understanding of branching strategies.
• Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) processes using GitHub Actions.
• Knowledge of the 12-Factor Application Development Methodology.
• Understanding of secure coding principles and application security vulnerabilities.

Desirable Skills:

• Willingness to learn new programming languages and technologies as required.
• Knowledge of authentication/identity concepts such as OAuth flows and OpenID Connect.
• Experience with SharePoint and Microsoft Teams development.
