Job Description:
We are seeking a seasoned data engineer to join our remote team. Your responsibility will be to transform raw data into useful data systems using various methods. Primarily, you will aim to increase operational efficiency by aligning data systems with our business objectives.
To succeed in this BI engineering role, strong analytical skills and the ability to compile data from multiple sources are necessary.

Responsibilities:
- Analyze and organize raw data
- Develop data systems and pipelines
- Assess business needs and objectives
- Ready the data layer for consumption by end users by creating data models in visualization tool
- Integrate raw information from various sources
- Find ways to improve data quality and dependability
- Collaborate with other developers, data analysts, and business users
- Project Leadership
- Mentor other Data Engineers
Job Qualifications:
Requirements and skills:
- 12+ Years' experience as a BI engineer or similar role
- Technical expertise with data models and data warehouse design
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Java and Python
- Knowledge of Data Vault design of data warehouse
- Proficiency in SQL and understanding of NoSQL databases like CosmosDB
- Expert knowledge of data warehousing concepts, including ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes and data modeling
- Ability to integrate data from multiple sources like web services, APIs, and file systems
- Understanding of how to secure a data platform for both Snowflake and Power BI
- Expertise in creating data pipelines
- Proficiency in version control systems like Git, along with understanding the concepts of branching, merging, and tagging
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and a keen willingness to learn
- Degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent field
Experience with the following tools and technologies:
- QLIK Replicate and QLIK Enterprise Manager
- Matillion ETL
- Azure Cloud (Logic App, Azure Data Factory, Cloud Storage)
- Snowflake
- Data Vault Warehouse Design
- Power BI
