Join Our Team as a Clinical Database Programmer

We are seeking a dedicated Clinical Database Programmer to manage all technical facets of clinical data management for multiple clinical trials and programs.

Key Responsibilities

The Clinical Database Programmer's duties include:

• Overseeing and executing database lock requests.
• Designing, developing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting both internal and external clinical data management systems.
• Reviewing crucial database specification documents, such as CRF Specifications and Data Validation Specifications (DVS).
• Creating and programming edit checks, special actions, and derivations based on DVS.
• Programming database manipulations to support data transfer processes.
• Offering technical expertise to Clinical Data Managers and addressing study-specific database issues.
• Completing study database updates as specified by Change Request documents and procedures.
• Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to study building and edit check programming.
• Validating clinical data programs following a formal, documented QC process.
• Supporting the development, revision, implementation, and maintenance of core CDM strategies, processes, operating procedures, and working instructions.
• Contributing to internal CDM group meetings for knowledge sharing and providing updates on the latest features.
• Participating in departmental initiatives within Clinical Data Management.
• Ensuring conformity with ICH GCP guidelines in CDM activities.
• Maintaining effective communication and collaborative relationships with Engineering and other Service Delivery teams to ensure seamless, end-to-end data flow in clinical trials.

Qualifications

We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Life Sciences, Engineering).
• Certification in Good Clinical Practice (GCP).
• Experience in programming languages such as SAS, SQL, Python, or R.
• Comprehensive knowledge of effective clinical data management practices.
• Experience with Clinical Data Management and Electronic Data Capture (EDC) systems.
