Position: Cloud Data Administrator

We are seeking a dedicated Cloud Data Administrator to work with Exiger's software, third-party data, and cloud computing services. The ideal candidate will collaborate with clients and our research & development teams to enhance the impact of our solutions, making the world safer and more transparent.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and modify data models, working closely with the business team to understand requirements and provide design guidance to the development team.
  • Lead the development of project requirements for end-to-end data integration processes using ETL for structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data.
  • Assess and understand ETL jobs, workflows, BI tools, dashboards, and report designs.
  • Collaborate with business users to create architecture aligned with business needs.
  • Analyze existing data storage systems and develop data solutions in Snowflake.

Nice to Have

  • AWS certifications
  • Extensive experience with AWS S3, Secrets Manager, Lambda, IAM, SQS, SNS
  • Strong development skills in Python or other scripting languages such as Java
  • Experience in end-to-end data analytics design and architecture for Snowflake
  • Strong understanding of database design, data integration, and data modeling principles
  • Proficiency in ELT/ETL concepts and best practices
  • Experience migrating data from various database platforms and files to Snowflake
  • Strong experience with Terraform and CI/CD processes

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in data warehousing and administration
  • SnowPro certification
  • 4+ years of experience implementing data warehousing on Snowflake
  • 5+ years' experience in data ingestion with real-time data streaming tools like Kafka, Kinesis, and ETL/ELT tools using Lambda, Python, Matillion, AirByte, etc.
  • 5+ years' experience profiling, creating, advising, and reviewing data models for data warehouses and data marts
  • Design table structures with proper data analysis and mapping capabilities
