Your Role

As a Cloud Data Engineer, you will guide large enterprises and SMEs through their digital transformation journeys by managing data projects using Google Cloud Platform and associated open source solutions.

Responsibilities

• Analyze client needs to propose suitable solutions and target architectures.
• Facilitate workshops to study and define client requirements.
• Design deployment methodologies and migration plans.
• Write architecture documents and technical specifications.
• Build and deploy resilient and secure data architectures (data warehouse, data lake, real-time systems).
• Create and implement data pipelines (ETL/ELT).
• Ensure the migration of data to new environments.
• Analyze source data to identify and evaluate business use cases.
• Implement Business Intelligence and data visualization tools (Looker, DataStudio, etc.).
• Continuously monitor cloud solutions and train client teams on cloud methods and concepts.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree with significant experience in Data projects: architecture, processing, and analysis.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience managing Data projects and leading a team of data engineers.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language for data analysis (Scala, R, Python, Java).
• Strong skills in system architecture, databases, and analysis methodologies.
• Knowledgeable about the Data ecosystem and selecting suitable components for use cases.
• Interest in Business Intelligence, Big Data, IoT, and Machine Learning.
• Familiarity with data tools from public cloud providers (Google Cloud Platform, Microsoft Azure, AWS) is required.
• Deep understanding of both the technical and functional aspects of IT projects.
• Curious, autonomous, analytical, and attentive to detail.
