Key Responsibilities:

As a Cloud Database Administrator, you will:

• Handle installation, configuration, and maintenance of database software.
• Manage database upgrades, patching, and migrations.
• Implement robust database backup and recovery solutions.
• Analyze infrastructure and database resource usage, predict growth patterns, and perform capacity planning.
• Collect and analyze database performance data to fine-tune systems.
• Create and manage database structures such as tables, indexes, constraints, and views.
• Resolve database system, storage, and application issues through trend analysis.
• Monitor SQL jobs in production environments.
• Evaluate and implement new database technologies and utilities.
• Ensure smooth database changes and maintain both production and non-production DB environments.

What We Expect from You:

Our ideal candidate will have:

• At least 3 years of experience in database administration.
• Solid understanding of database programming and structured query language (SQL).
• Experience with one or more DB management systems such as MySQL, MS SQL, DB2, SAP HANA DB, or SAP MAX DB.
• Advanced knowledge of database infrastructure and concepts.
• Excellent IT service management skills along with superb communication and troubleshooting abilities.
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Fluency in both English and Hungarian.
