Your Role: Cloud Engineer

The Developer Experience Platform team is seeking an exceptional Cloud Engineer to join us. In this role, you will help design and implement a Kubernetes-based application platform to streamline the development and deployment of enterprise applications on the Cloud.

Job Description

This highly technical, hands-on role requires extensive experience in managing infrastructures and applications across data centers and cloud services. You will design and implement new capabilities and tools for Kubernetes as part of our horizontal developer experience platform team.

Key responsibilities include:

• Design and implement new Kubernetes capabilities and tools.
• Develop tools to generate Infrastructure as Code, CICD, and observability tool integrations.
• Build and manage relationships with a diverse set of customers utilizing the platform to ensure collective success.

You will be part of a team of highly-skilled, enthusiastic, and passionate engineers working in this leading-edge and ever-evolving field.

Minimum Qualifications

• Strong expertise in Kubernetes, including writing operators.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Go or Java, and API patterns using REST/gRPC.
• Experience with developer tooling and containerization.
• Proficiency in writing Infrastructure as Code and using the GitOps model for deployment across multiple cloud providers.
• Experience building cloud-native applications, API gateways, and service mesh architecture patterns (e.g., Istio).
• Experience developing, configuring, or operating end-to-end CICD tools.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building Enterprise-grade Java applications and deploying them on the cloud.
• BS in Computer Science or equivalent proven experience.
