Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Engineer to join our team. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Positioning yourself as a trusted advisor to CapTech clients
• Designing, implementing, integrating, and supporting Cloud solutions
• Working closely with clients, subject matter experts, and the CapTech team to understand requirements, establish priorities and project scope, and manage project delivery expectations
• Providing technical direction and input to other developers to review code and resolve issues
• Differentiating developmental and architectural differences between solution methods and addressing challenges associated with integrating solutions built on diverse platforms

Qualifications

• Ability to think strategically and relate architectural decisions to business needs and client culture
• Preferred experience with Cloud architecture using AWS
• Understanding of Serverless, Containers, Platform as a Service, Storage, and Identity and Access Management
• DevOps experience using Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK with Azure Pipelines for Infrastructure as Code
• Practical API Development skills using Node (preferred), Java, or .Net
• Preferred experience with Go
• Applied Data Engineering experience using Python, Scala, or R for Data Pipelines and ETL processing
• Experience with full SDLC using Waterfall or Agile methodologies
• Applied CI/CD experience with Git as a VCS using Test Driven Development practices
