Data & AI Cloud Solution Architect at Microsoft

We are excited to announce an opening for a passionate and highly motivated Data Platform & Advanced Analytics/Artificial Intelligence Cloud Solution Architect at Microsoft. This role focuses on driving customer initiatives on the Microsoft Azure Platform in our Enterprise accounts segment, collaborating closely with customers and the Microsoft field team.

Role Overview

As part of a forward-facing team, you will take charge of the technical relationships between Microsoft and our customers, focusing on our Data, Advanced Analytics, and AI Platform. Your responsibilities will include leading architectural design sessions, overseeing specific implementation projects, constructing MVPs, and providing critical technical support to troubleshoot and enhance system efficiency using our Well-Architect framework.

This role requires someone who can successfully communicate and build rapport with senior customer executives, Enterprise Architects, IT Management, and Developers to integrate Data Platform and Advanced Analytics solutions into production environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Customer Centricity: Engage deeply with industry trends, customer insights, and map out architecture solutions to drive business outcomes. Act as a customer advocate in product development and service improvement discussions.
• Business Impact: Manage strategic customer relationships to identify and overcome technical challenges, remove technical blockers, and optimize cloud consumption and implementation.
• Technical Leadership: Drive technical readiness within the team, mentor junior colleagues, and lead virtual teams to address collective technology challenges.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or a related field, complemented by extensive experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies and IT consulting/support.
• Deep experience with Azure AI Services including Azure OpenAI, Azure Cognitive Search, and Azure Machine Learning or equivalent platforms.
• Demonstrated ability in developing AI Proofs of Concept, MVPs, and steering production deployments.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Proven application development skills with languages such as Python or Java.
• Experience in high-tier architecture design and enterprise-level production deployments.
• Excellent communication skills and comfort addressing senior executives and technical teams.
• Relevant technical certifications in cloud platforms like Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
