Position Overview: Computer Network Exploitation (CNE) Software Developer

QinetiQ US is seeking a skilled CNE Software Developer to join our expanding team providing comprehensive network exploitation capabilities. You will address hard target problems for our customers using both major electronics systems and custom, hard-to-find platforms.

Key Responsibilities

The CNE Software Developer will engage in tasks ranging from initial vulnerability research, reverse engineering, debugging/emulation, to exploit weaponization, delivering top-tier performance and results for our customers.

Required Qualifications

  • Proficient experience with Python development
  • Understanding of CNO/CNE concepts and applications
  • Experience with modern development techniques, source control methodologies, automated testing, or release cycles
  • Familiarity with operating systems internals (Windows, MacOS, iOS, Android, or Linux)
  • Proficiency in secure communications techniques (cryptography, secure protocols)
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills
  • Ability to autonomously learn and work with new technologies
  • Active Secret Clearance required #qinetiqclearedjob

Preferred Qualifications

  • Design and implementation experience with parsing structured binary data
  • Knowledge of forensics and anti-forensics of software applications
  • Client/server applications design and implementation experience
  • Experience with software requirements development
  • Professional experience in a development team
  • Experience with lab and field deployment testing
  • Kernel driver development for common operating systems (Windows, MacOS, iOS, Android, or Linux)
  • Familiarity with boot loaders and firmware images
  • Top Secret clearance (preferred)
