Join Our Team as a Commercial Analytics & Data Science Manager

We are excited to offer the opportunity for a skilled Commercial Analytics and Data Science Manager to become an integral part of 10x Genomics' Commercial Insights and Analytics team within our dynamic Commercial organization. This pivotal role is designed to develop and enhance analyses and insights across Commercial, Sales, and Marketing, influencing leadership decisions and strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Analytics:

As part of your role, you will:

• Design and implement data-driven frameworks to provide critical insights and answer key questions from our commercial leadership, helping guide strategic decisions.
• Develop scenarios and build business cases, setting the stage for impactful business strategies.

Forecasting and Quota Planning:

Your expertise will be crucial in:

• Enhancing our data-driven forecasting and territory quota planning efforts across various product lines and geographic areas.
• Optimizing and advancing tools and processes to support business efficiency.

Sales Force Design & Performance Measurement:

You will:

• Provide analytics and insights that influence the design and structure of our sales force, addressing strategic requirements both proactively and reactively.
• Develop and manage KPIs to measure and enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the sales team.

Ad-Hoc Analytics:

Support our C-suite and senior leadership by:

• Delivering strategic analyses in collaboration with cross-functional teams including Marketing Analytics and Corporate Strategy.
• Identifying and evaluating market segments and opportunities, aiding in directional strategies for growth.

Minimum Requirements:

• Advanced degree in a STEM or quantitative field or an equivalent combination of education and experience in Finance, Economics, or Business Analytics.
• At least 3 years of experience in a strategic or analytics role, preferably within life sciences, genomics, or related industries.
• Strong analytical skills, proficient in SQL, Python, and data visualization tools like Tableau.

Preferred Background:

Prior strategy consulting experience with recognized firms (e.g., McKinsey, Accenture) is highly desirable.
