Go.Compare was acquired by Future in 2021 and has since become a leading brand within the Savings (insurance & personal finance) division. As one of the UK’s pioneering comparison websites and beloved brands, Go.Compare empowers consumers to compare the costs and features of a broad spectrum of insurance policies, financial products, and energy tariffs, helping people find the best deals.

As a Commercial Insight Analyst, you'll be part of Go.Compare’s Data Service team where your primary focus would be on exploiting available data to enhance partner performance and evolve our Discovery data service, our top-notch partner technical data platform.

This is a dynamic role requiring close collaboration with Senior Managers. Your responsibilities would include providing insights to existing customers, analyzing large datasets, assisting with new business opportunities, identifying market trends, spotting new commercial data opportunities, and informing internal decision making.

Key responsibilities

  • Analyzing, understanding and reporting on key emerging trends in the rapidly changing insurance market.
  • Interpreting data to discover opportunities for growth and collaborating with the Data Service team to provide actionable insights.
  • Providing analytical support and insight to guide business decisions and strategy...
  • Supporting existing partners by ensuring they are engaging with our services and getting the most out of them, and assessing potential improvements.
  • Assisting with pitches to new and existing partners.

Experience that will put you ahead of the curve…

Key

  • Stakeholder management
  • An eye for detail and cross-referencing
  • Ability to translate technical findings into an accessible format
  • Experience with analysing large datasets and providing actionable written insights

Desirable

  • Experience with SQL for querying and analyzing data
  • Experience with PowerBI
  • Commercial acumen including negotiations and sales
  • Experience or understanding of the insurance industry and/or the wider financial services sector
