Role Overview: Money Laundering Reporting Officer (MLRO)

As the MLRO at Binance, you will have a pivotal role in shaping our compliance strategies across Turkey. Your efforts will ensure that Binance adheres to local and international compliance standards, including AML/CFT, KYC, and sanctions compliance, safeguarding our operations against regulatory risks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement comprehensive compliance frameworks in alignment with both regional and global regulations.
• Conduct continuous monitoring and enhancement of internal controls to ensure strict compliance within the Turkish market.
• Engage with regulatory bodies, managing all related inquiries and reporting necessities effectively.
• Collaborate with international compliance teams to synchronize objectives and standardize practices across the organization.
• Identify risks through rigorous assessments, crafting strategic action plans to mitigate potential compliance gaps.
• Lead compliance training sessions, fostering a culture of integrity and transparency within the corporate environment.
• Initiate improvements to the compliance program, adjusting to evolving regulatory landscapes.

Required Qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Law, Engineering, or another relevant field.
• At least 5 years of experience in compliance or regulatory roles, with a focus on the financial services sector in Turkey.
• Deep understanding of Turkish regulatory frameworks and financial compliance systems.
• Exceptional communication skills in both English and Turkish, capable of engaging stakeholders at all levels.
• Strong analytical acumen and a proactive approach to problem-solving in compliance and regulation.
• Proven leadership skills, with experience managing diverse, cross-functional teams.
