The Adobe Technology Services (ATS) organization has a dynamic mission: to enable Adobe's business to deliver, operate, and scale resilient cloud solutions. ATS is the preferred partner for our engineers, offering cloud services, hosting, operations, security, and architectural support. To offer compelling products, Adobe needs to design and maintain highly available and responsive cloud infrastructures.

We are seeking a dynamic Computer Scientist skilled in Software Development and Cloud Infrastructure. Candidates should be capable of creating and delivering a 24/7 reliable application environment, ensuring the highest levels of reliability and performance.

Job Description

Duties

As a Software Engineer within Adobe Technology Services, you will:

• Develop, maintain, and evolve software services to meet quality expectations and company standards.
• Design, implement, and enhance testing automation frameworks.
• Write and execute manual or automated tests, report findings, and provide recommendations for improvements.
• Participate in product requirements and development sessions, contributing to design decisions and integration of new features.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 5+ years of development experience in Java (Python is a plus).
• Experience with MVC frameworks like Spring.
• Proficiency in Unix/Linux platforms and shell scripting.
• Experience with cloud services like Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
• Expertise in object-oriented design, design patterns, and SQL databases.
• Knowledge of web technologies like JavaScript and ReactJS (preferred).
• Experience in releasing highly scalable enterprise products.
• Solid coding practices with good documentation, unit testing, and peer reviews.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Proven ability to learn and adapt quickly in new, complex development environments.
• Experience in Machine Learning, Data Mining, or Information Retrieval.
• Familiarity with Big Data technologies and containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with No-SQL databases and full-stack web development.
• Passion for creating efficient, scalable web interfaces.
• Engagement in technical blogging and open-source projects.
