Key Responsibilities

As a pivotal part of our team, you will:

  • Evaluate and refine computer vision algorithms and deep learning models, focusing on complex issues within Apple Vision Pro.
  • Drive the definition of feature specifications and enhance anticipated user experiences based on actionable data insights.
  • Stay at the forefront of industry advancements in computer vision and deep learning, actively integrating this knowledge into your work.
  • Develop sophisticated tools for data analysis and visualization that support our groundbreaking technology.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including program managers, computer vision engineers, machine learning engineers, and other stakeholders to translate requirements into robust technical solutions.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members, fostering an environment of growth and innovation.

Professional Experience and Qualifications

To thrive in this role, you should have:

  • A minimum of 3 years of industry experience with computer vision and deep learning models.
  • Expertise in image processing, object detection, segmentation, and other related computer vision techniques. Experience with SLAM is considered a plus.
  • Strong coding skills, particularly in Python, with at least 4 years of practical experience.
  • A proven track record of conducting in-depth analysis of machine learning model failures.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and the capacity to excel in a fast-paced atmosphere.
  • Outstanding communication and collaboration abilities, able to manage multiple tasks with varying priorities effectively.

Education Requirements

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a related field and a minimum of 3 years relevant industry experience.

Compensation and Benefits

Apple offers a competitive compensation package with a salary range between $138,900 and $256,500, dependent on your qualifications, skills, and experience. Employees may also receive discretionary bonuses or commission payments and are eligible for a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical and dental coverage, retirement benefits, discounted products, services, and tuition reimbursement for certain educational expenses. Additionally, you can become an Apple shareholder through our discretionary employee stock programs.
