We are eagerly seeking a Senior/Lead Computer Vision Engineer to drive innovation and help us build the Metaverse, a cutting-edge "spatial internet" where immersive virtual worlds exist alongside the real world.

About the Role

The chosen candidate will lead the design and development of groundbreaking computer vision and machine learning algorithms. This includes expertise across real-time scene and object tracking, understanding and reconstruction, segmentation, and face, body, and keypoint estimation. Your role will be crucial in exploring and implementing generative methods like GANs, 3D stereo, and volumetric reconstructions into developing hardware and software capable of transforming how people interact within their environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Guide long-term roadmap definition and execution in collaboration with cross-functional teams specializing in computer vision, machine learning, graphics, sensors, and optics.
• Lead multidisciplinary engineering and research teams to transition new technologies from concept to production.
• Address complex performance and evaluation issues with your in-depth knowledge and experience.
• Develop prototypes for future VR/AR/MR experiences, iterating and integrating robust solutions into user-centered products.
• Define impactful projects for fellow engineers and guide them towards achievement under your strategic direction.

Minimum Qualifications

• Proven prototyping and engineering expertise in areas such as SLAM, Sensor Fusion, Generative Models like GANs, or Dense 3D Reconstruction.
• Strong educational foundation with a BSc degree in Computer Science, Computer Vision, Machine Learning, or a related field.
• Experience in leading extensive cross-functional engineering projects.
• Capability to mentor and influence senior engineers and stakeholders across the organization.

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced degree (MSc or PhD) in a relevant field.
• Practical industry experience with technologies such as real-time SLAM, 3D reconstruction, sensor fusion, and depth sensing.
