Job Summary

Are you skilled in Configuration Data Management? The Aerospace Corporation is seeking a Configuration Data Management Analyst with impeccable attention to detail and a strong background in engineering programs. This hybrid role, based in Aurora, CO, involves managing and controlling configurations and baselines, ensuring the traceability of changes through a documented change management process.

Key Responsibilities

As a Configuration Data Management Analyst, you will:

  • Control configuration of baselines through Configuration Control Boards.
  • Develop and implement configuration management principles, processes, and training.
  • Manage all program-related information, ensuring effective storage and control throughout the contract lifecycle.
  • Conduct audits of CM activities to verify compliance with established procedures and standards.
  • Collaborate across the Program Management Office (PMO), proactively managing CM risks and deliverables.
  • Integrate change management workflows with version control repositories for end-to-end traceability of configuration items.

Basic Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) with at least 10 years of experience, or 8 years with a Master’s Degree.
  • Experience implementing a program for controlling program baselines and work products.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint).
  • Active and transferable U.S. government-issued security clearance.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

Additional skills that will help you stand out:

  • Knowledge of EIA-649, National Consensus Standard for Configuration Management.
  • Experience with Common Product Data Management (cPDM) tools and COTS/FOSS Configuration Management.
