What You'll Bring: The role involves managing statistical and programming professionals in the execution of various advanced statistical analysis techniques. The incumbent is fully competent in regression, segmentation, clustering, and other advanced statistical analysis techniques and has a detailed understanding of credit bureau information and the processes involved in gathering, cleaning and loading accounts receivable information into TransUnion’s consumer credit reporting database. Furthermore, they must be able to present statistical analysis in easy-to-understand reports and presentations. It also involves working closely with customers, understanding anticipate their business needs associated with the use of credit bureau information, and helping them formulate their decision support needs and assisting with the implementation of solutions relying upon the application and use of credit bureau information. We would love to see: This role requires a Master’s degree in Statistics or a related field such as mathematics, business, finance, or economics, with five or more years of relevant work experience. Among the necessary skills are advanced knowledge of consumer credit reporting and analytical software and techniques, experience in designing and implementing statistical and data simulation platforms related to the analysis and modeling of consumer credit behaviors, advanced programming skills, proficiency in a statistical language such as R or Python, and a high level of familiarity with Microsoft Office tools. Impact You'll Make: In this role, you'll manage research and analysis processes for projects in topics such as marketing, risk, profitability, technology, geography, or others. You'll lead in proposal development by transforming client requirements into consultative solutions. You'll also consult with customers on analytical requirements and integrate marketing and account management strategies. Moreover, you'll test applications on credit bureau information to solve industry problems, manage database projects, and develop analytical products. You'll understand industry trends and business opportunities and make formal presentations, create and conduct training programs for various TransUnion departments, and perform other related duties as assigned.
