About the Position

Pierre is recruiting a Consultant Data Science based in Lyon for a permanent position (CDI), offering a competitive salary of 60-65K€. We require 4 to 5 years of experience, professional English proficiency, and expertise in both Data Science and Project Management. Enjoy 2 days of remote work per week.

Mission

Your primary mission will be to guide and support the implementation of the new SaaS solution on the client side. With the architecture finalized, you will deploy the prototype to 2 to 4 clients within a year. You will oversee the project's industrialization phase, ensuring follow-ups, including data collection.

Expected Outcomes

• Pilot Deployment: Lead the deployment at each client site during the industrialization phase, including documentation, team training, ERP modules, follow-ups (data collection), and developing new features such as predictive maintenance, process optimization, quality, and maintainability.
• Back End Structuring: Develop the Data as a Service approach for the R&D department to effectively support the business.
• Project Coordination: Lead coordination with key stakeholders: 3 clients (Technical Director, Maintenance Director, Site Manager) and 6 internal team members (Technical Director, Mechanical Engineers, Automation Engineers, and Instrumentation Engineers).
• Technical Expert: Provide technological recommendations every six months to enhance data, tools, and methods, ensuring we stay ahead of the competition.

Tools & Languages

Proficiency in Python, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and databases like InfluxDB, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MongoDB is essential. Familiarity with visualization tools such as Grafana and Plotly is a plus.

Profile Sought

We are looking for someone with strong expertise in Data Science and Project Management. Familiarity with cybersecurity and network architecture is important, ideally from experience within a large industrial player. As part of a British group championing "Industry 4.0", you'll work within the French subsidiary that developed the SaaS solution, a gem on a global scale. Your consultancy role with clients won't intimidate you, and you'll advocate for data efficiently both internally and externally. You'll join a R&D team of 5 professionals (mechanics, automation, instrumentation, vision) under the guidance of a Technical Director with over 20 years of experience who will help you enhance your skills in metal fusion.
