Job Opportunity: Consultant Data Scientist at KPMG India

Roles & Responsibilities

Leverage data-driven techniques to design, develop, and improve Generative AI models, drawing on expertise in machine learning, deep learning, and statistics.

Utilize Python for building high-quality GenAI systems. Expert-level skills in using Python libraries and frameworks such as NumPy, Pandas, PyTorch/TensorFlow, Llamachain, and LangChain. Strong development experience with LLMs, preferably GPT-4 and Llama2. Strong experience in embedding methods.

Expertise in optimizing and fine-tuning LLMs/Embedding and LLM Evaluations is required.

Build and maintain robust data pipelines responsible for collecting, cleaning, processing, and transforming raw data into a usable format for the Generative AI models.

Conduct rigorous testing and validation of the models to ensure accuracy, quality, and generalization on unseen datasets.

Stay abreast of the latest developments in Data Science, AI, and Machine Learning to continually improve project methodologies and outputs.

Present complex results clearly and concisely to stakeholders with different backgrounds, and advise on the best strategies based on the model's findings.

Ensure that all models and algorithms developed adhere to KPMG standards and best practices, complying with all relevant regulatory and company privacy policies.

Work Experience

Minimum of 3+ years of development/ML experience in production-level scalable systems.

Solid background in developing data science projects and handling complex large data sets—unstructured, semi-structured, or structured.

Conduct comprehensive data analysis and modeling, applying AI/ML and statistical methods to large datasets to effectively extract useful insights and generate creative outputs.

Experience with SDLC methodologies, particularly Agile, and project management tools, preferably Azure DevOps.

Working experience on Azure Cloud.

Proficiency in fast prototype development.

Educational Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science Engineering or equivalent experience.

Certification in cloud technologies, especially Azure OpenAI, would be an advantage.
