Key Responsibilities:

As a Consultant - GCP Data Engineer at KPMG India, you will:

• Design, build, and operationalize large-scale enterprise data solutions using GCP services such as Data Flow, Data Proc, Pub Sub, BigQuery, Cloud Functions, Composer, and GCS.
• Develop high-quality, production-level ETL/ELT data pipelines from data ingestion to consumption utilizing Spark/Scala (python/java).
• Enhance analytical tools to fully leverage the data pipeline, providing actionable insights into crucial business metrics.
• Adopt and promote agile methodologies and software development life cycle best practices, including coding standards, code reviews, source management, build processes, testing, and operations.

What We Are Looking For:

The ideal candidate for the Consultant - GCP Data Engineer position should possess:

• Proficiency in designing, building, and maintaining large-scale data solutions using multiple GCP services.
• Hands-on programming experience in Spark/Scala (Python/Java).
• Deep knowledge of Data Engineering, including Data Lakes, Data Warehouses (e.g., Redshift, Hive, Snowflake), and experience in data integration and migration.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to convey complex information in an understandable way.
• Familiarity with software version control tools (Git/Bitbucket/code commit).
• A proactive work style, strong personal ownership of problem resolution, and the ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision.
• A collaborative team spirit, enjoying a cooperative and collaborative team environment.
• An undergraduate degree with excellent academic credentials in a technical field such as Computer Science or Engineering.
