Job Responsibilities

Role Overview

As a key member of Deloitte Southeast Asia's AI and Data team, you will drive the growth of our AI and Data business in the region. Your responsibilities will include designing and delivering next-generation data and AI/ML solutions.

Our team leverages advanced technologies such as data science, analytics, robotics, and cognitive technologies to generate insights from vast datasets, aiding in informed decision-making. Our Strategy and Analytics Portfolio helps clients transform their businesses by developing organizational intelligence programs and innovative strategies.

Key Competencies

We are looking for candidates experienced in:

• Designing and implementing data structures to support Big Data, AI/ML models, and traditional reporting solutions using technologies like IBM DB2/Netezza, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle Exadata, SAP HANA, and more.
• Developing data integration processes (batch/real-time, ETL/ELT) with tools such as Informatica, Talend, Azure Data Factory, AWS Glue, Google Big Query, and Spark.
• Implementing Big Data ecosystems, including Hive, Hue, Spark, Flink, HDFS, Kafka, and HBase.
• Data Warehouse capabilities: AWS Redshift, Google Big Query, Azure Synapse, Snowflake, and Databricks.
• Data engineering tasks such as integrating, migrating, and synchronizing data sources to enable data products.
• Modeling large-scale, complex, real-time data requirements to consolidate data from various sources and deliver next-generation data products.

Job Requirements

• A good honors Degree, preferably at the postgraduate level, in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, or related disciplines.
• Extensive experience in Big 4 or MNC Consulting firms or industry-related roles.
• Minimum of 4 years (Consultant), 6 years (Senior Consultant) relevant experience with solid experience in the sales cycle and leading project teams.
• Strong experience in interfacing with senior business and IT stakeholders for clients.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong understanding of data mining, visualization, analytics, or Intelligent Automation.
• Highly organized, client-focused, and results-oriented.
• Superior verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong business acumen, teamwork, and leadership qualities.
• Willingness to travel and adapt to the consulting lifestyle.
