About the Role: Manager / Senior Associate – Economist/Public Finance Management

You will engage with the Economics and Sustainability Team, leveraging economic principles to draft strategies and policies with tangible impacts. Our diverse client base spans sectors such as government, real estate, energy, finance, tourism, transport, and healthcare. In our pursuit toward a sustainable future, we are eager to onboard skilled individuals passionate about driving transformation in the Middle East.

What Will You Do?

  • Economic and fiscal policy analysis and development.
  • Socio-economic impact assessments.
  • Economic and financial modelling/forecasting.

Roles & Responsibilities

As a seasoned consultant, you will:

  • Engage in economic impact assessment, macroeconomic analysis, public finance management, and policy development.
  • Manage client relationships, including interaction with senior government officials.
  • Drive business development activities, manage projects, and strategize on new opportunities.
  • Provide leadership through coaching and capacity-building within the team.

Professional Skills & Qualifications Required

Applicants should possess:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in public finance management, ideally within a consulting environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Econometrics, Public Policy, or related fields. Professional qualifications in PFM are preferred.
  • Strong project management and communication skills, to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience with MS Office, Google Suite, and preferably Stata, R, EViews, PowerBI, Tableau, or ThinkCell.
  • Fluency in Arabic is considered highly advantageous.

This role may require travel across the Middle East depending on project demands.
