About the Role

We are looking for passionate, enthusiastic problem-solvers with expertise in capital markets data to join our team as a Python Data Developer. You will be responsible for managing data processing pipelines, where you will handle both operational components and future growth in technology selection.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage data pipelines that flow between capturing, storing, and transforming market data.
• Envision and plan for future growth in utilization and technology selection.
• Analyze performance of various data queries, jobs, and pipelines to find and fix bottlenecks.

Qualifications

We are seeking candidates with the following qualifications:

• 5+ years of relevant professional experience.
• Significant experience with Python and the ability to write and maintain object-oriented Python applications.
• Experience in a batch data processing environment or similar setting using automation.
• Strong knowledge of ETL pipelines and Data Lakes.
• Proficiency with AWS, Docker, and Git version control systems (GitLab and/or GitHub).
• Expertise in Linux, Bash, and understanding of Linux server architecture and operation.
• Experience in troubleshooting, running profilers, and debuggers.

Nice to Haves

Though not required, the following experience will be beneficial:

• Monitoring tools like Nagios, Prometheus, and Grafana.
• Tools such as Uptime, Jenkins, Airflow, Open Metrics, and Kubernetes.
• Experience with DataDog.
