Responsibilities

As a Core Analytics - Data Engineering Associate, you will:

  • Oversee and enhance data protection controls to ensure the security and integrity of enterprise data.
  • Customize and configure tools to meet specific business or customer requirements, providing guidance to peers on similar tasks.
  • Update and refine logical and physical data models to accommodate new use cases.
  • Utilize SQL extensively and maintain proficiency in NoSQL databases, understanding their unique roles within the industry.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support data-driven decision-making processes.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate should have:

  • A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in data engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience managing the full lifecycle of data, from collection and storage to analysis.
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL, including complex queries involving joins and aggregations.
  • Solid understanding of NoSQL databases and their applications.
  • Demonstrated ability in statistical data analysis, selecting appropriate tools and identifying relevant data patterns for comprehensive analysis.
  • Experience implementing custom changes in tools to produce tailored data products.

Key Toolsets

We are looking for candidates skilled in:

  • Python for data manipulation and analysis.
  • ETL tools, including Spark and Databricks.
  • Major cloud platforms such as AWS, AWS-S3, AWS-Glue, and Snowflake.
  • Database management systems, including Oracle, MSSQL, Apache Iceberg.
  • SQL and NoSQL database concepts.
  • Data Mesh, data modeling, and domain-driven design.
  • Version control systems and tools, including Git, GitHub, GitLab, and Bitbucket.
