Job Overview
Join our award-winning CRM, Loyalty, and Personalisation Team as a Data and Technology Manager. This pivotal role supports our strategic goals to advance CRM Data and Technology, driving unparalleled customer campaigns and advocating our transformative technology initiatives across Currys.
Main Accountabilities
- Lead and manage strategic projects, including platform migrations and developments, in collaboration with cross-functional teams such as Marketing, IT, Architecture, and Data Governance.
- Ensure data and technology compliance (GDPR, PECR) across CRM & Loyalty activities, supporting end-to-end personalization initiatives for omnichannel messaging across email, SMS, website, digital ads, and more.
- Oversee the technical management, improvements, and contractual relationships with our CRM tech partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Senior CRM Management team (Data Planning, Retention, Loyalty, Campaigns & Trading) to deliver commercial and customer outcomes aligned with the CRM Strategic Vision.
- Support the Currys personalization strategy by developing new data connections for omnichannel activations, working with teams across stores, online, digital ads, and Shop Live.
- Champion the CRM Strategic Framework, increasing the role and visibility of CRM Data and Tech within the business. Serve as a Subject Matter Expert, consulting on data-driven marketing and upskilling others in CRM Data and Tech.
- Act as a representative for data and technology changes from the broader business, ensuring CRM perspectives are considered in projects and final solutions effectively meet requirements.
Required Skills & Experience
- Experience in CRM Data environments (data warehouses, Azure, CDPs).
- Proficiency with CRM Platforms (Adobe, Salesforce, Braze).
- Knowledge of personalization technologies (Movable Ink, Phrasee, Taxi4Email CMS).
- Strong influencing skills to drive the agenda with senior stakeholders.
- Excellent analytical capabilities, with a deep understanding of data to enhance campaign performance and delivery (including technical CRM and analytical systems expertise).
- Minimum 6+ years in data marketing/CRM, including email marketing and customer engagement across retention, re-engagement, and acquisition with a significant customer database.
- Preferred: Marketing or Business degree.
