Job Description

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Machine Learning Engineer to join our team remotely from Panama. This role is crucial for optimizing and enhancing the performance of our AI-driven software. The successful candidate will be tasked with refining machine learning objectives, designing automated systems, and improving the predictive accuracy of our models.

Main Responsibilities

• Consult with management to define and refine machine learning goals.
• Design and implement self-running AI systems to automate and improve predictive models.
• Transform data science prototypes and employ suitable machine learning algorithms and tools.
• Ensure high accuracy of algorithms in generating reliable user recommendations.
• Address complex challenges with multi-layered data sets and enhance existing ML libraries and frameworks.
• Develop machine learning algorithms to process vast amounts of historical data for predictive analysis.
• Conduct stress tests, perform statistical analyses, and interpret results under various market conditions.
• Document all machine learning processes and stay updated with the latest industry developments.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, or related fields.
• Master's degree in Computational Linguistics, Data Analytics, or similar field is preferred.
• Minimum of two years' experience in a Machine Learning Engineer role.
• Advanced proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, and R.
• Extensive understanding of ML frameworks, libraries, data structures, data modeling, and software architecture.
• Strong grasp of mathematics, statistics, and algorithms.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and teamwork capabilities.
• Outstanding time management and organizational skills.
