Are you ready to be at the forefront of quantum communications and cryptography innovation? We are seeking a talented Cryptography Research Engineer to join our prestigious team at JPMorgan Chase & Co., within the CTO Office, Global Technology Applied Research division in Singapore.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with a dedicated team of researchers and engineers to design and build network components for advanced cryptosystems.
- Champion the development and execution of novel solutions addressing complex network issues.
- Eloquently document and report your innovative solutions to stakeholders.
- Push the boundaries of quantum communications and cryptography, particularly focusing on quantum-safe networks and secure computation.
- Actively contribute to JPMorgan Chase's intellectual property portfolio by securing protections for generated IP.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer/Info-communications Engineering or a related field.
- At least three years of experience in C programming within varied environments (e.g., assembly, make, clang, LLVM, git, gdb, perf, unix).
- Expertise in fast packet-processing including user space implementations and kernel bypass techniques (XDP, DPDK, io_uring).
- A naturally curious mind with a proven capability to work independently on innovative projects in ambiguous settings.
- Deep understanding and experience with digital signal processing, and communication/cryptography protocols and algorithms.
- Experience in low-level systems programming aimed at achieving ultra-low latency and high throughput in network applications.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Exceptional ability to design and develop solutions from scratch, potentially creating custom microarchitectures.
- A passion for engaging in challenging work environments with a focus on continuous team improvement.
