About the Role: Data Quality Expert – Global Data Quality

Data is foundational to ING’s strategy as we transform into one unified digital bank. Within the Data Operations division, an exciting opportunity exists to operationalize and implement our data strategy, helping us become a data-driven digital leader in banking. As part of our team, you will play a crucial role in delivering on our data promises and advancing our data quality across global operations.

Position Overview

Join our Global Data Quality team as a Data Quality Expert where you'll work with a dynamic group spread across the Netherlands, Manila, and Romania. Your contributions will focus on improving data quality proactively across your assigned product portfolio. This will involve overseeing data quality rules design, implementation, monitoring, and improvement processes with a goal of enhancing data reliability for decision-making and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead your product portfolio within the Data Quality Customer Journey Experts team, ensuring adherence to data quality standards and practices.
  • Collaboratively implement the Data Quality strategy with the Product Lead of Data Quality.
  • Manage data quality end-to-end, from the initial phases of design to implementation, monitoring, and improvements.
  • Enhance data quality operating models, ensuring alignment across different domains and entities.
  • Develop strong collaborative processes and project management to ensure data quality initiatives are effective and accountable.
  • Work with Data Platform & Delivery teams for technical alignment and operational execution.
  • Interact with various stakeholders to gather requirements and develop new data quality controls and dashboards.
  • Empower and motivate teams towards achieving high performance and operational excellence.

Qualifications:

  • Proven leadership in global data quality operations with a deep understanding of data governance and quality frameworks.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
  • Effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills to influence and work across diverse global teams.
  • Proficiency in English and robust presentation skills.
