About the Role:

HP's Advanced Compute & Solutions (ACS) is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer to ensure the security of our components and overall solutions. The Cybersecurity Engineer will work independently, deploying tools, enhancing security posture, and assisting with compliance to achieve cybersecurity certifications. This role is crucial for maintaining the security of our components and solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and maintain security tools and processes for AI & Software Development.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to understand business requirements and define AI project cybersecurity goals.
• Work closely with HP cybersecurity groups.
• Consult on architectural decisions for software development.
• Analyze vulnerabilities, attacks, or threats to determine risk and mitigation strategies.
• Resolve security issues related to vulnerabilities, incidents, and threats.
• Provide cybersecurity expertise in AI strategy and decision-making.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with partner organizations.

Required Skills and Experience:

• In-depth skills in Cybersecurity, AI, and Software Security.
• Proven experience in AI Architecture and technology integrations.
• Proficiency in AI and machine learning technologies, including deep learning, reinforcement learning, natural language processing, and computer vision.
• Thorough understanding of cybersecurity risks, threats, and prevention measures.
• Extensive experience in software architecture and relevant programming languages (GoLand, Python, HTML, JavaScript, etc.).
• Understanding of Agile practices for software development.
• Knowledge of security standards and best practices.
• Experience in popular AI frameworks and libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) for AI development and deployment.
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and asynchronous processing.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Strong experience in software security practices.
• Minimum 6+ years of relevant experience.

Compensation:

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets and varies based on defined markets. The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is $118,050.00 to $181,800.00 annually, with additional opportunities for bonuses and equity.
