About the Role

As a Senior DAML Engineer, you will be crucial in crafting a distributed ledger solution tailored to the alternative investment ecosystem. This position calls for a seasoned professional capable of understanding complex business problems, scoping projects effectively, and communicating solutions across all levels of the organization. You will collaborate closely with other engineering teams, product managers, senior leadership, and external industry partners.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop a private, permissioned distributed ledger using DAML / Canton and other blockchain frameworks.
• Construct and manage a RESTful API utilizing Python and FastAPI.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to peers and junior engineers.
• Engage in all phases of our software development lifecycle, including daily stand-ups and peer code reviews.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of blockchain technology trends and apply them to our ecosystem.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of experience in software engineering with a focus on SaaS cloud-based solutions.
• At least 2 years in technical leadership and management roles.
• Proficiency in DAML, Solidity, or similar blockchain programming languages.
• Strong experience with Python, FastAPI, and AWS-based API development.
• In-depth knowledge of relational databases, tokenization, and blockchain investments.
• Understanding of capital markets, alternative investments, and basic financial principles.
• Exceptional communication, project management, and problem-solving skills.

Benefits & Compensation

At iCapital, we value our team's hard work and dedication and offer a competitive base salary range of $165,000 to $215,000.
