We are actively seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data & Analytics Director to lead our dynamic analytics team. The ideal candidate will possess a profound understanding of data analytics, exhibit a strategic mindset, and demonstrate strong leadership capabilities. This role is pivotal in guiding our analytics strategy, ensuring the effective use of data to drive decision-making, and optimizing marketing performance for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

  • Develop and lead the overall analytics strategy, aligning it with the company’s objectives and clients’ business goals.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to continually enhance the agency’s analytical capabilities.

Data Management and Analysis

  • Oversee the collection, organization, and analysis of large datasets to provide actionable insights.
  • Oversee and support platform pixel and event tracking implementation.
  • Ensure data integrity and accuracy through meticulous data management practices.
  • Utilize advanced analytics techniques, including predictive modeling, data mining, and machine learning, to uncover trends and inform strategies.

Performance Optimization

  • Analyze marketing campaign performance across various channels, including programmatic, paid social, PPC, email, SEO, and affiliate marketing.
  • Identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and develop dashboards and reports to track and communicate campaign effectiveness.
  • Provide data-driven recommendations to optimize campaign performance and achieve client objectives.

Client Engagement

  • Collaborate with clients to understand their business needs and translate them into data and analytics requirements.
  • Present analytical findings and insights to clients, articulating the strategic implications and recommended actions.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, providing ongoing consultation and support on analytics-related matters.

Team Management

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of data analysts and data scientists, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
  • Manage the allocation of analytical resources, ensuring the team is equipped to meet project deadlines and deliver high-quality work.
  • Facilitate professional development opportunities for team members, encouraging skill enhancement and career growth.

Platform and Tool Management

  • Oversee the selection, implementation, and management of analytics platforms, tools, and dashboards to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Ensure the effective integration of various data sources into a cohesive analytics ecosystem.
  • Continuously evaluate and optimize the performance of analytics tools and platforms to enhance data accessibility and usability.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience in an analytics role within a digital and performance marketing agency or similar environment.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful analytics strategies that drive business growth.
  • Expertise in data analysis tools and techniques, including SQL, Python, R, and data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing channels, including programmatic, paid social, PPC, email, SEO, and affiliate marketing.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team of analytical professionals.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex analytical concepts in a clear and concise manner.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a detail-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
