Job Description: Data Analysis and Visualization Engineer

We are seeking a talented Data Analysis Engineer to join our dynamic team! This role involves accessing and connecting to data, applying data management concepts, and implementing UX/UI principles to create compelling visualizations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the USSOUTHCOM Office of the Chief Data Officer to enhance and standardize data connection, collection, and visualization processes.
• Integrate data from multiple sources to create coherent and compelling stories.
• Effectively communicate complex information, concepts, or ideas through verbal, written, and visual means.
• Gain expertise on the Advana Platform to manage and standardize visualizations across the command.

Required Skills:

• Proficiency in query languages such as SQL.
• Experience with data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, STATA SAS, SPSS).
• Competency in applying UX/UI concepts to data display development.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical/scientific field.
• 4+ years of experience managing organizational data systems.
• Active US government Secret clearance.

Desired Skills:

• Understanding of cybersecurity impact on operations.
• Knowledge of cyber threats and vulnerabilities.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity principles.
• Awareness of relevant national and international laws, regulations, and policies.
• Expertise in data mining and data warehousing principles.
• Familiarity with the Booz Allen (BAH) developed ADVANA platform.

Salary Range and Benefits

Competitive salary range: $83,300.00 - $145,800.00
