Join Banner Bank as a Data Analytics & Quality Assurance Auditor and take the lead in shaping and maintaining a robust data analytics program. This pivotal role involves not only overseeing the internal audit’s analytics but also enhancing our quality assurance and audit software practices across the board.

Key Responsibilities:

In your new role, you will:

  • Develop and refine data analysis techniques and documentations to bolster future audit processes.
  • Enhance audit work programs by integrating advanced data analytic methods, ensuring timely execution in coordination with team efforts.
  • Drive the Internal Audit department’s quality assurance program, reviewing, and analyzing audit workpapers against standards and facilitating issue remediation.
  • Stay updated on shifts in business operations and management, providing critical feedback on the viability of policies and procedures.
  • Guide team members on effective data analytics, quality assurance, and the utilization of auditing software.
  • Create and manage reports that dissect business operations and crucial performance indicators.
  • Establish and track metrics and KPIs related to the application of analytical techniques and tools within internal auditing.

Required Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Economics, Law, Computer Science, or a related field is required. Relevant professional certifications such as CISA, CISSP, CRCM, CPA, or CIA are preferred.

Experience: A minimum of 4 years in a similar role is required, with substantial experience in employing data analytical tools and methods in internal audit capacities.

Skills and Abilities:

Ideal candidates will display proficiency in:

  • Common statistical programming languages and leading data platforms (on-premise and cloud-based).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of effectively interacting with senior management.
  • Expertise in report writing, comprehension of compliance regulations, and the risks inherent in bank operations.
  • The ability to maintain confidentiality and integrity in all communications.

Travel & Compensation:

Travel is expected to be around 10%. We offer a competitive salary range of $86,919 - $114,129, which is complemented by a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision insurance, paid time off, and a 401k match.
