• As a Data Architect, you are responsible for designing the BMG data architecture and embedding it in the overall IT landscape of Robert Bosch Manufacturing Solutions (BMG) worldwide.
• You play a key role in shaping the future commercial IT architecture around S/4 HANA and actively and purposefully create data architectures based on our business processes, taking into account data protection and IT security, and implement a consistent data model for business applications, analytics and machine learning.
• With your ideas you improve the data quality through robust end-to-end data pipelines and thus design customer-oriented, improved data creation processes which increase customer benefit and improve the business processes.
• Additionally, your responsibility lies in optimising data and application landscapes in relation to business benefit and the resulting IT costs. For this purpose you use appropriate digital tools (LeanIX, SAP Signavio, EA, etc).
• Using your specialist expertise, you evaluate our functional areas regarding existing reporting landscapes, assess technical requirements for their implementation in IT solutions and professionally manage the requirements for SAP Analytics Cloud and SAP Datasphere from BMG as Product Owner.
• Last but not least, you liaise with process officers, master data officers of the business unit and the Bosch Group, thus contributing your part to the digital transformation.

Qualifications

• Education: Completed university degree (Master/Diploma) in Information Technology, Business Informatics, Engineering, Business Engineering, or similar courses of study
• Experience: Relevant experience in the design, customization and application of IT solutions and interfaces focusing on data; Experience in data and analytics solutions (SAC, SDS; PowerBI, KNIME, Python) and AI applications
• Know-how: Consultancy competence, IT architecture with regard to processes, data and applications (EAM); Methods for the modelling of IT architectures and data structures; Experience in cloud and interface technologies (API)
• Personality and Working Method: You have a good communication ability at different levels of the company; You are motivating and integrative in dealing with people; You handle uncertainties confidently, are structured and result-oriented
• Enthusiasm: Enjoy shaping the digital future in the sector, readiness to take over professional leadership
• Language skills: Very good German and English in speech and writing
