Job Responsibilities
- Oversight of reporting and analytics deliverables
- Conduct daily, weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc reporting
- Engage in data analytics and solution development
- Perform advanced data mining and problem-solving
- Develop algorithms and models, explaining their implications to cross-functional teams
- Collaborate with Technology and Operations for new implementations
- Drive continuous improvement efforts and mitigate risks through effective root cause analysis
- Prepare executive-level presentations and communicate findings
Required Qualifications, Skills, and Capabilities
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative field, or equivalent professional experience
- Minimum of 5 years in business system analysis or related roles
- At least 3 years of experience with programming languages such as SQL, Python, Alteryx, or Cloud Databases (preferably Snowflake)
- Deep understanding of operational processes in the banking industry, especially in payment processing
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and familiarity with BI tools like Tableau and Business Objects
- Comprehensive knowledge in database design and data warehousing principles
- Experience with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Proven ability to articulate business requirements and develop strong cross-functional relationships
- Effective at multitasking, proactive, and can work independently under tight deadlines
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong communication capabilities
