About the Role

As a Data Analytics Associate, reporting to the Head of Marketing for the Ferinject BU, you will provide proactive insights and recommendations through data analysis to support the Ferinject launch and its ongoing adoption in the Canadian market. You will manage data analytics projects with IQVIA and other vendors, enhancing local business and market intelligence within the oral and IV iron market.

This role involves working with vendors to deliver impactful business insights, gathering input from key internal stakeholders, and ensuring adherence to budget and timelines. Additionally, you will collaborate with the Product Manager to optimize brand performance trends, identify strategic insights, and uncover new opportunities for brand growth. Your findings will be presented to senior leadership and occasionally to the sales field team through written and oral presentations.

Key Responsibilities

• Leading the formulation of business questions (IWIKs), identifying and integrating data sources, and applying market research and analytical methods to address these questions.
• Translating research and data analysis findings into actionable recommendations for strategic and operational initiatives.
• Reporting insights to a broader business audience, ensuring clear communication of recommendations.

Experience and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications, life sciences, or healthcare discipline; MBA preferred.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in market research or data analytics within the life sciences industry.
• Excellent analytical skills and a strong understanding of statistics.
• Proven project management skills.
• Solid understanding of pharmaceutical databases.
• Hands-on approach to project execution, with a methodical work style and great attention to detail.
• Ability to quickly grasp new concepts and a high willingness to learn on the job.
• Bilingualism in English and French is preferred.

This position requires approximately 30% travel, including some weekends.
