About the Role

Oscar is looking for an Internal Audit Manager to enhance our Finance team. As a key member of our Internal Audit (IA) function, this role leverages data analytics to drive insights, improve efficiencies, and mitigate risks. The position reports directly to the VP, Internal Audit and plays a critical role in shaping our IA strategies through advanced data analysis.

Location and Work Environment

Oscar supports a flexible and integrated work culture, ideal for anyone, whether remotely or in the office. We encourage those near our Tempe, AZ, office to spend some time on-site, fostering a connected and collaborative environment. Please note, this position requires residence in specific states. Compensation and Benefits

The base salary range for this role is $97,200 - $127,575 per year, complemented by comprehensive benefits, including our unlimited vacation program and annual performance bonuses.

Key Responsibilities

As an Internal Audit Manager, your duties will extend across numerous aspects of our audit processes:

• Leading the development and integration of data analytics into audit methodologies.
• Executing complete audits—from planning and risk assessment to reporting, while employing advanced analytics tools to identify trends and ensure thorough investigations.
• Collaborating across teams to enhance automations and optimizations, ensuring the highest level of data governance and strategic insight.
• Staying up-to-date with industry advances to continuously refine our audit practices.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in roles related to internal audit and data analytics.
• Proficiency in top industry data analytics tools and thorough knowledge of standard audit methodologies.
• Strong project management skills and leadership experience.

Earn extra credit with certifications such as CIA, CISA, CAP, or by bringing industry-specific experience to the table.
