Job Description

We are excited to announce an opening for a Data and Technology Risk Principal Associate on our Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) Advisory Team. This role is pivotal in offering expert advice and overseeing risk management protocols relating to data integrity and technological controls across the enterprise. This position interfaces closely with internal stakeholders to enhance our financial reporting and risk management framework, especially as we integrate new cloud technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guide stakeholders through risk management processes including scoping, assessment, and control testing.
  • Advise on emerging data and technology risks, recommending steps for effective mitigation.
  • Evaluate the implications of technology transformations on controls and compliance.
  • Conduct detailed analyses and prepare reports on control performance metrics and compliance.
  • Support stakeholder communications concerning audits, control gaps, and remediation strategies.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent military experience.
  • A minimum of 3 years experience in technology focusing on Internal Controls, Data Risk Management, Risk Management, or Audit.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Over 4 years in Auditing and Control Evaluation.
  • Professional certifications such as CIA, CISA, AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, or Solutions Architect.
