Job Responsibilities

The Data Architect will:

• Lead architectural efforts for advanced data solutions both on-premises and in the cloud as part of broad data modernization initiatives.
• Drive the migration of data environments optimizing for performance and reliability.
• Interact directly with clients to capture complex business data requirements through various techniques.
• Guide design reviews and promote standardization across data modeling and governance.
• Develop strategic technology roadmaps in alignment with enterprise architectural goals.
• Ensure the delivery of high-quality data artifacts, including conceptual, physical, and logical data models, and support system testing and implementations.

Basic Qualifications

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum five years of experience in enterprise data warehouse or data lake solutions.
• Proficient with AWS cloud services like EC2, S3, and Redshift, and Big Data technologies such as Apache Hadoop and Spark.
• Substantial experience in large-scale data migrations and data platform design for user consumption.
• Must be a US Citizen able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

• AWS Certified Data Analytics specialty certification.
• Experience with technologies like SageMaker, NoSQL databases, and Data Mesh.
• Familiarity with DevSecOps environments and CI/CD methodologies.
