Integrant is seeking to hire a "Data Architect" responsible for crafting solutions for ingesting, storing, processing, transforming, enhancing, and presenting data for analytical consumption. Duties include but are not limited to soliciting requirements, choosing and tailoring analytical architectures to meet customer requirements, designing and building data pipelines, constructing data strategies, and mentoring clients and internal teams on the latest architectures (Data Warehouses, Data Lakes, Data Lakehouses, Data Fabrics, Data Meshes, etc.) and methodologies (DataOps, , etc.).

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in data engineering.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or another quantitative field. Postgraduate degrees are preferred.
  • Ability to engage with stakeholders at various levels within an organization, understand current analytical challenges and gather requirements.
  • Deep understanding of the evolution of analytical architectures from reporting databases to data warehouses, data lakes, data lakehouses, data fabrics, data meshes, and beyond. A data architect should also be able to technically justify how a suggested architecture would meet a potential client’s analytical needs.
  • Broad experience with Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Experience with setting up OLAP solutions on MS SQL Server using SSAS, MDX, and DAX.
  • Experience with optimizing query performance and setting up high availability configurations.
  • Deep understanding of dimensional modeling.
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure Synapse Analytics.
  • Experience with setting up analytical architectures over AWS. This includes familiarity with S3, Lake Formation, Glue, Redshift, Kinesis, and Athena to name a few.
  • Experience with BI consumption tools such as Power BI, SSRS, and AWS Quicksight.
  • Experience with Snowflake is a plus.
  • Familiarity with the Hadoop ecosystem of tools.
  • Experience with Python.
  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with open-source machine learning frameworks (such as Scikit-Learn, TensorFlow, Keras, etc.) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Data Science workloads is a plus.
  • Familiarity with DataOps.
