As a Data Architect, you play a central role in this mission by designing and maintaining the foundational data model that allows our clients to utilize the full potential of their data. You will spearhead the process of creating robust data solutions, ensuring data quality, security, and performance, and ultimately, transforming data into actionable intelligence. The Data Architect is responsible for designing and implementing data architecture strategies, ensuring high data quality, efficient integration, and optimal performance within TrendMiner. They collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, uniform, and secure data solutions that empower data-driven decision-making for stakeholders. Essential Functions: Data Strategy and Design: Develop and implement data architecture strategies in line with TrendMiner's objectives and requirements. A consistent and unified data handling philosophy. Data Modeling and Schema Design: Create and maintain sturdy data models and database schemas to optimize data storage and retrieval. Data Integration: Design and manage the integration of various data sources, ensuring smooth data flow and synchronization. For example, meaningful mapping from different data sources to TrendMiner. Data Governance and Security: Establish data governance policies and procedures to maintain data quality, integrity, and security throughout our platform. Performance Optimization: Identify and implement performance-tuning measures to optimize data processing and reduce query response times. Cloud Infrastructure Management: Collaborate with the Cloud Operations team to oversee the cloud-based infrastructure and ensure the scalability and reliability of data systems. Data Quality Management: Implement data quality standards and conduct periodical data quality assessments to enhance data accuracy. Collaboration with Development Teams: Collaborate closely with software developers to integrate data-related functionalities into the platform. Data Visualization, Documentations, and Reporting: Support the creation of data diagrams, artifacts, flows, and documentation to provide actionable insights to stakeholders. For example, mapping out the data flows within the TrendMiner application. Minimum Requirements: Strong comprehension of data architecture principles and data management best practices. Efficiency in data modeling, database design, integrations, connectors, and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes. Experience with cloud-based data platforms and services (e.g., AWS). Familiarity with data governance, data security, performance, and regulatory compliance. Analytical mindset and problem-solving skills to tackle complex data challenges. Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Fluency in English. You are solution-oriented and can approach functional needs with an open mindset.
