Job Description Summary
Join Crowe as a Data Architect for our services business. You will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our data architecture to support business intelligence and analytics initiatives. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, identify data needs, and develop scalable solutions to ensure data integrity, accessibility, and security. Work with our visualization team to bring data insights to life using tools such as Power BI.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable and efficient data architecture solutions to support the ingestion, storage, and analysis of large volumes of healthcare service data.
- Create data models to ensure data consistency, accuracy, and integrity across different systems and platforms.
- Establish and enforce data governance policies and standards to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain data quality and security.
- Design and implement data integration processes to consolidate data from multiple sources and systems, ensuring seamless data flow and interoperability.
- Manage DataMart performance tuning, optimization, and troubleshooting to ensure efficient data retrieval and processing.
- Define and implement data quality standards and procedures to monitor and improve data quality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders, to understand business requirements and develop data solutions aligned with business objectives.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance on data architecture best practices, emerging technologies, and industry trends to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
- Document data architecture designs, standards, and processes, and provide training and support to stakeholders to ensure effective use and maintenance of data assets.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science or STEM Majors with a minimum of 8 years of experience in databases, data architecture design, and data analysis.
- Proficient with programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, SQL, etc.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to interact effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with healthcare data standards and regulations (e.g., HIPAA, HL7) is a plus.
- Experience with cloud services such as AWS RDS, Lambda, Step Functions, Glue, Azure, etc.
- Ability to demonstrate skills through examples.
