Career Opportunity: HR Data Asset Management Specialist (Associate Vice President) at J.P. Morgan

As part of our ongoing digital and cloud transformation within Human Resources, J.P. Morgan is seeking a highly-skilled HR Data Asset Management Specialist (Associate Vice President). This role reports directly to the Head of HR Data Asset Management team. As a key player in our team, you will be responsible for constructing and maintaining data schemas and a data quality enabler to facilitate proactive data quality monitoring, deploying trusted data sets for AI/ML data consumptions, and supporting other downstream consumers across the firm.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop Data Quality Frameworks leveraging statistical models to identify anomalies and outliers.
  • Create and develop a configurable user interface for data quality measures configuration and reporting.
  • Prepare comprehensive end-to-end technical design specifications.
  • Collaborate closely with Data Owners, Operations Teams, and Data Asset Management Teams to implement Data Quality rules and measures through the Data Quality Framework.
  • Work with data scientists and analysts to enhance the product’s capability.
  • Manage the Data Quality rules backlog with prioritized schedules, ensuring stakeholder alignment.
  • Effectively communicate data quality issues and solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable control requirements.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Strong hands-on experience as a Full Stack Developer with expertise in Python.
  • Ability to develop responsive and user-friendly front-end interfaces using Java, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks (Angular, React, Node.js).
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing Restful APIs.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills, with a robust knowledge of database technologies, ANSI SQL, data modeling, and data integration techniques.
  • Experience in developing and deploying applications on the AWS platform.
  • Proven experience working in large-scale corporate data ecosystems, resolving data inconsistencies and challenges.
  • Experience with Agile methodology.
  • Familiarity with data quality tools (e.g., ProDQ, Atlan, Manta) for rule engines and proactive data quality monitoring.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • 10-12 years of experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering.
  • AWS Certified – Developer.
  • Experience in cloud-based programming environments.
  • Familiarity with machine learning and its applications.
  • Ability to deliver high-quality results under tight deadlines.
