Our team is expanding, and we seek a dedicated Data Development & Support Analyst to join our remote workforce in the UK.

Role Overview

In this vital role, you'll integrate with our team responsible for ensuring that the latest data is sourced into our Azure Data Lake and Data Warehouse, updated regularly within Power BI Reports. You'll find innovative ways to enhance data ingestion, focusing on robustness, performance, and monitoring while ensuring compliance with security processes and Data Governance policies, using cutting-edge tools in the Azure Stack and Databricks' data intelligence platform.

Your day-to-day tasks will also include collaborating closely with internal and external stakeholders to deliver pivotal agricultural market information and support those solutions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and support data collection and reporting processes utilizing modern software to ensure quality and accuracy, adhering to the Data Protection Act and confidentiality rules.
• Develop using Azure DevOps Pipelines for different environmental deployments.
• Proactively explore Azure stack and Databricks' capabilities to present data innovatively, providing value to various stakeholders.
• Design advanced reporting solutions to increase the value of data delivered by legal entities or the industry at large.
• Engage rigorously in testing and quality assurance to maintain system integrity.
• Operate within an agile environment, highlighting flexibility and proactive collaboration.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Considerable experience in SQL database querying and data warehousing.
• Proficiency in Databricks, Python, and creating solutions using Power BI.
• Comprehensive knowledge of the Azure Cloud Platform and experience in Agile/SCRUM environments.
• Exceptional attention to detail with stellar communication and organizational skills.
